Polaroid would like you to consider our Extended Warranty Program to protect you against unexpected repairs and equipment loss of use that can cost you lost time and business. We offer two programs (Gold & Silver) which extend the original product warranty beyond the initial period.

Warranty Features & Benefits

Unlimited Phone Support

When you purchase the extended warranty, you will receive an additional year of unlimited toll-free technical support calls.

Priority Repair

For repair services, simply call our 800-432-5355 toll free number, we'll issue you a return authorization number and shipping instructions.

Up to Three Years Coverage

You can purchase one, two or three years coverage based on your needs and budget.

Preventive Maintenance

You can schedule your equipment for a free preventive maintenance "check-up" any time during the term of your extended warranty. Should your unit be in for service, Polaroid will automatically perform the preventive maintenance checks.

Free Firmware Updates

You will be notified of firmware updates. You can schedule the update and have preventive maintenance performed at the same time.

Warranty Options:

Our premium "GOLD" annual extended warranty offers you a 'Ship First Loaner' unit delivered to you within two business days. You simply place the non-working unit in the 'Loaner' shipping container and return it to Polaroid. Polaroid will contact you when your unit is repaired. All parts and labor are included at no charge. While comprehensive, CTC does not recommend the Gold option because its cost is too high a percentage of the purchase price of a film recorder, especially considering the proven reliability of the Polaroid digital film recorders.

Our "SILVER" annual extended warranty offers you standard repair service on your digital product. You place the non-working unit in a shipping container and return it to Polaroid. Upon completion of repairs, usually 5 days after receipt, we will return the unit to you. All parts and labor are included. If you prefer the security and budget-protection of a warranty extension, this is the option recommended by CTC. Please Note: Our own experience is that the reliability of Polaroid film recorders makes unnecessary the investment in such warranty programs.

Note: To qualify for the Extended Warranty, Color Film Recorder must either be within the original 1 year Manufacturer's Warranty or proof of maintainability must be obtained from Polaroid Corporation. Ask for details.
