Presentation Express II

Now available in ShareWare Software Version

February 18, 2001 -- Today CTC, the exclusive distributor of Presentation Express II, released the popular graphics program as shareware. Company president Joan Carter opted for this distribution strategy to expand the marketing opportunities for this powerful PC graphics program.

The program, available for downloading from the CTC web site as well as other sources, has long been considered the premier DOS-based business presentations program. It features extensive charting functions, spell checker, context-sensitive help, speaker notes, a standard Windows interface, true WYSIWYG, and support for an extensive range of printers, including Polaroid's popular CI-5000S and HR-6000 Digital Slide Printers, with no additional software or interface kits required! Printing by both SCSI and parallel port is supported.

The shareware version is full-featured in every way. Being DOS-based, Presentation Express gives users the familiar Windows interface but speeds printing tremendously by utilizing DOS. It is fast!!

Options available for purchase include a Windows import function called Presentation Express Viewer for Windows, a medical/professional spell checker and optional type collections, each priced at $49. The cost of the full, unrestricted Presentation Express II is only $449, and Carter emphasized that site licenses are a flat $500, regardless of the number of users. The full version includes drivers for PCR, QCR, Mirus, Montage, and other high-end film recorders.
